Idaho

Idaho is one of those states we probably wouldn't have chosen to go to on a normal holiday only because it is so close to states with bigger personalities and attractions. Yet what I hadn't realised until I started researching this state is just how big it is. If you were to flattern all the moutains in Idaho, it would be the same size as Texas!

One of the more unusual attractions on our tour through Idaho, will hopefully be a stop off at the Experimental Breeder Reactor I. This is a decommissioned research reactor and U.S. National Historic Landmark located in the desert about 18 miles southeast of Arco. It was one of the first electricity-generating nuclear power plants and is now open to the public to view and learn about the history.
